Born on 21st April 1971 in Mypadu to Sri Penchala Narasimham and Smt. Kameswaramma, Dr. Peddisetty Suneel Kumar is a distinguished educationist, entrepreneur, and social leader. He holds an MBA and Ph.D. and has dedicated his life to empowering underprivileged communities through education, employment generation, and regional development.
At the age of 21, Dr. Suneel Kumar founded Sri Venkateswara Colleges in Nellore with a clear vision: to make quality education accessible to economically backward students. What began as a small initiative has grown into a strong pillar of educational development in the region, providing free and affordable education to thousands of students over the decades.
In 1997, he entered the aquaculture sector by establishing a thriving Aqua Culture & Hatchery business. His efforts have supported numerous aqua farmers and strengthened the local aquaculture ecosystem, contributing significantly to the economic growth of coastal communities in Andhra Pradesh.
In 2002, Dr. Suneel Kumar ventured into the construction industry, starting small and scaling up to large infrastructure projects. Through this journey, he has created substantial employment opportunities for hundreds of individuals, playing a vital role in local economic development.
From 2016 to 2019, he served as Executive Council Member at Vikrama Simhapuri University, where he actively contributed to academic excellence and institutional growth.
At Mypadu Beach, he constructed the magnificent Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple (Jyotirlinga Devasthanam). This initiative has transformed the beach into a prominent devotional and tourism destination, promoting both spiritual heritage and cultural tourism in the region.
